We visited Sees in 2023 and had stayed at this hotel. We had thoroughly enjoyed our stay with exceptional food and most welcoming host and hostess. Returning, we found that it was as good as we had previously experienced and we had no regrets that we had gone back. Sees is a delightful, small city. Very quiet and set in beautiful countryside. The hotel is small and traditional. The host is the chef and provides a very personal service, supported by his wife.

This hotel is a very pleasant surprise. From the outside the property looks a little worn and we were concerned when we first pulled up. However forget the first impression, it was a wonderful experience. The proprietors are exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We had family dinner and the Chef catered for our age group from 4 years to 50+. The food was excellent! Fresh, locally sourced seasonal produce in a series of yummy of dishes. We have been inspired to try some of the recipes at home. It was a very special experience for us all.

I only arrived in Sées by chance on a cycling tour and this was a great place to stay. The town is charming and historic. The hotel itself was pretty and the breakfast very nice: local produce and a selection of about 20 different homemade jams. The owner was very helpful, and even caught me as I was going out in the evening to give me a walking guide to the town. I’m glad I did that: there were information boards in French and English and it made a very pleasant way to explore.

we loved this place and the effort made by the owners to make us feel comfortable. Period property that has been modernised inside. The owners make a fantastic effort to look after you eg bottles of water, snacks, tea and coffee in room etc. Dinner was gourmet, and breakfast offered us their skills at homemade products - 15 jams, 6 compotes etc. Never seen such a spread! The bed was large and we had a great night's sleep. Good bathroom and shower. The property is in a quiet sidestreet with onstreet parking.

Fabulous quant historic French town with an amazing cathedral. Atmospheric hotel. Fabulous food, fine dining with ample portions! Expensive but worth every penny. I loved that the old bathroom suites have not been replaced with sterile white ones. These bathrooms were beautiful in their day and if we wait long enough, they will be sought after! The bedroom was beautiful and spacious. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. The dinner and breakfast were gastronomical adventures served in a beautiful dining room.

Very comfortable and charming hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Very helpful in us understanding menu, in a friendly manner. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing. We were even given a piece of the homemade tartr tatin (which was by far the best we have ever eaten) to take with us.

Like the suppers we enjoyed, the breakfast choice was also a little overwhelming ! Masses of home cooked items laid out in the splendid dining room made a relaxed start to the day's sightseeing...

Beautiful old building in central location in Sees. Really a restaurant with rooms. Food is absolutely top notch and the owners are a very welcoming couple. It’s lovely to find that excellent family run small hotels are surviving amidst the many chain alternatives

Centre of the town, quiet on a Sunday with easy parking outside. Although on website it said restaurant not open Sunday evening we were offered dinner which was very welcome. The buffet breakfast was exceptional with a huge selection of homemade produce and very good coffee.

Delicious food, generous portions, leave room for the desserts! The breakfast was equally worth lingering over with an array of freshly made bread, croissants and pastries, home made jams, yoghurts and fruit salad, juice, cold meat and more. The rooms were clean and comfortable and everything you could want provided or readily available from adapters to toothbrushes.
